Experience
I tutored a student in sophomore level math for a year during my undergraduate. I have also served as a TA in 2 classes at Penn State (Basic Entomology and Honey Bees), where I held review sessions for students as well as helped them work through the subject during office hours. I enjoy teaching, and I received positive feedback from the professors and students of the classes I have TA'ed for. I worked as a nanny for 2 years for children between the ages of 2-16, so I am comfortable working with students of any level! As a graduate student, I spend quite a bit of time working on technical writing skills, as well as public speaking and presentation techniques. I am familiar with R and have an intermediate knowledge of coding language. My research is interdisciplinary, covering topics in entomology, biology, ecology and plant sciences.
