Experience
I tutored a student in sophomore level math for a year during my undergraduate. I have also served as a TA in 2 classes at Penn State (Basic Entomology and Honey Bees), where I held review sessions for students as well as helped them work through the subject during office hours. I enjoy teaching, and I received positive feedback from the professors and students of the classes I have TA'ed for. I worked as a nanny for 2 years for children between the ages of 2-16, so I am comfortable working with students of any level! As a graduate student, I spend quite a bit of time working on technical writing skills, as well as public speaking and presentation techniques. I am familiar with R and have an intermediate knowledge of coding language. My research is interdisciplinary, covering topics in entomology, biology, ecology and plant sciences. I look forward to helping you better understand your classes!

Hobbies
I enjoy running, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with my two wonderful dogs! In the summer you can find me out catching insects for my research, or spending time in my garden!
