Anthony N.
Private tutor in State College, PA
Education
B.S. in Psychology (2007 - SUNY College at Cortland), M.S. in Psychology (2011 - Penn State University), Ph.D. in Psychology (anticipated August 2015).
Experience
I have experiencing teaching courses in psychology, particularly introductory psychology and social psychology, to undergraduate students. I try to make learning fun, using a lot of real-world examples as well as using different forms of media (i.e., YouTube videos) in order to make the material easier to digest. I want to tutor because I find no feeling more rewarding than working with a student who has an "aha" moment. I think that psychology, more than any other subject, has much to offer in terms of real-world value, and I take pride in helping students make those connections to the real-world.

Hobbies
I'm a down to earth, soon-to-be Ph.D., who genuinely loves psychology. I try to incorporate humor into everything I do. I pride myself in being approachable, nice, and understanding. When I'm not working, I love watching baseball, being outdoors, and spending time with my wonderful wife and our little dog, Samson (miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix).
